Make sure that your child can hold his head and sit properly in a highchair before you start solid foods. Always monitor the mealtime of your baby.

What’s my 6-month-old child going to eat?

Lovely kid with lovely fruits.

Some of the first goods given to children are oatmeal and brown rice cereal. So, bland choices encourage your baby to use the spoon to practice or learn how it functions in her language.

Let your baby feed himself with the adding of dry cereal or grain bubbles.

When your baby has cereal comfort, offer:

  • Simple and processed fruit (banana, mango, apple sauce, blueberry, avocado)
  • Cheese
  • Cooked Pure vegetables (carrots, squash, sweet potatoes)
  • Beans
  • Pure protein (chicken, beef, fish)
  • Muffins
  • Small amounts of canned coconut milk (Keep in mind that your child should not have cow’s milk until he’s at least 12 months old).
  • Pasta
  • Scrambled eggs

How much is my child allowed to eat?

Blanded vegetables for kids.

Children around the age of six months will eat about 6-12 ounces of pure baby food a day. But it depends on your child for the exact amount.
